The SEAL team offers in-person Spoken English and Personality Development classes for schools. Our classes are integrated into the school’s curriculum and are conducted by our trainers on the school’s premises. We use our Grammar and Spoken English books for each grade as the teaching aid. Our sessions are a blend of grammar and communication exercises, with the emphasis being on developing the fundamental aspects of grammar required for error-free speech. Rigorous grammar exercises and speaking drills guide students in mastering pronunciation, expanding their vocabulary, and enhancing the fluency of their communication. We don’t stop with language enhancement! We believe body language and good etiquette are part of effective communication and we train kids in the same.
Our storytelling workshops in preschools and primary schools are aimed at cultivating the reading habit in children. Using captivating stories as the foundation and incorporating music to engage young minds, our master storytellers bring these tales to life for the kids. Our storytelling sessions have been a major hit, inspiring children to even come up with their own imaginative endings to the stories.
Creative writing is the art of using language to craft one’s imagination into a story, poem or any form of expressive writing. This art hones one’s ability to express clearly and effectively. We help writers understand the nuances of writing, weaving their imagination with technical skills, to choose powerful words, structure sentences in a captivating way, creating stories that transport the readers to a world imagined by the writer. Creative Writing Workshops and Webinars are conducted for all age groups.
Creativity consists of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Fluency is the ability to generate a large number of ideas – the more the ideas the better. Flexible thinking enables one to see the same thing in different ways. Originality is the ability to produce ideas that are unique. Our Critical Thinking and Creative Thinking Workshops have been designed to develop and nurture these three areas of creativity in kids in a step-by-step approach. Critical thinking is the act of solving a problem. Reasoning skills, which go hand-in-hand with critical thinking, help in arriving at a solution/solutions to a problem. In simple terms, education teaches us the earth is a sphere. Critical thinking makes us question this belief using our logical reasoning skills. Creative thinking, which is almost the opposite of critical thinking, tries to create a new theory for the shape of the earth, for example. Critical thinking and creative thinking skills are very important for kids because they help kids understand and evaluate life and challenges better and solve in “out-of-the-box” ways. This workshop is designed to trigger critical thinking and creative thinking abilities in tiny tots. Our classes help learners build a rocksolid foundation in critical thinking and thereby unleash their creative problem-solving potential.
